This item is made to order.  It is one of the first products we made featuring the specific technique of shell and metallic paint under pvc to create a mural. We may be the first brand to use this technique.  The model pictured is a useable prototype which will be sent to the first buyer of one of these bags as a free gift.  We have since improved the construction method in ways to ensure maximum longevity of service and heightened aesthetic appearance.  When we receive your order we will send the model pictured immediately and then make your additional improved version and send it within 2 months.  The first buyer will therefore receive 2 bags for the price of 1.

Worm Eats Bird imagines 'The Wall' ....This item is entirely hand crafted and hand stitched. The coloured bricks are made using real Abalone, natural and hand coloured Mother of Pearl veneer applied to firm plastic tiles which are covered in strong, clear, flexible PVC sheeting which is stitched into place with light grey linen thread. The shell emits a bright iridescent glow when it catches even low level lighting making it a perfect evening accessory. The PVC adds a heightened level of lustre with sound abrasion and UV resistance. The gold and silver bricks are made using specialist metallic paint which is also used to colour the engraved branding on the opposite face of the bag. It is constructed with strong vegetable tanned bovine leather inside. The glossy red vegetable tanned sheep leather used for the facing has an attractive grain. It is lined with soft red chamois leather. The back of the tiled area is also supported under the lining by a special piece of board. It is approximately 8, 1/2 inches wide, 5, 1/2 inches high (excluding handle) and the sides are 2, 1/2 inches wide. External edges are coloured with electric blue metallic effect paint. We will make other versions of this bag in different colours for example. Each will still be unique, as the colours of the bricks are randomly chosen.
